Finding hope in the midst of our journey between the "now" and the "not yet" of ultimate fulfillment and completion with God is the theme connecting Henry Woodruff's 17 sermons on Second Lesson texts from the Revised Common Lectionary. The messages of this veteran preacher address issues of faith in the face of ambiguity: how to trust in God and maintain courage as we confront an unseen and unknown future, waiting for our fulfillment with and in God. This book will be useful to Christians who are wrestling with their faith journeys, to pastors who seek fresh ways to address these issues with integrity, and even to non-Christians who want exposure to a Christian understanding of life and hope.

Titles include:
Don't Look For Any Benches -- 1 Corinthians 10:1-13
Peeking Over The Fence -- Hebrews 10:16-25
When The Wailing Ends -- Revelation 1:4-8
Why Life Changes When You Know The Truth -- Ephesians 1:15-23
God's Gift For Impatient People -- Revelation 22:12-14, 16-17, 20-21
... and more!
