H. Burnell Baldwin served four years in the United States Army before entering the ministry. He was ordained in the Augustana Lutheran Church after receiving his degree from Augustana Seminary in Rock Island, Illinois. He served three parishes in West Central Minnesota over a period of 30 years and is currently the visitation pastor at Zion Lutheran Church, Cloquet, Minnesota.
