David Kalas is an ordained elder of the United Methodist Church. He has served churches in Virginia and Wisconsin and is currently the Lead Pastor of First United Methodist Church in Green Bay, Wisconsin. David did his undergraduate work at the University of Virginia and earned his M.Div. from Union Theological Seminary in Richmond, Virginia. He is the author of several books, including When Did God Become a Christian?, The Gospel According to Leviticus, Everything I Need to Know I Learned in Eden, and two new resources for youth ministers. David and his wife, Karen, have five daughters and four grandsons.
