In a time when many mainline churches are experiencing ecclesiastical and theological anarchy, Robert Kopp explores the timeless and life-changing truths of the gospel in 11 powerful and effective messages based on Second Lesson passages from the Revised Common Lectionary.

Good sermons are hard to come by -- but Bob Kopp comes by them with uncanny regularity. Kopp understands our culture as few preachers do, and in this book addresses crucial issues of our time with biblical faithfulness and prophetic insight.

Robert Kopp's writing is original, intriguing, provocative, biblical, and at times confrontational. One thing he never is: boring!
Michael Duduit, Editor
Preaching magazine

Though sometimes irreverent, Bob Kopp's sermons offer a unique perspective which exudes a passion for Jesus Christ and his church. He has given me many good ideas and illustrations for preaching.
Mark Johnson, Managing Editor
Preaching magazine

Bob Kopp will make you laugh, cry, think, and feel, all in the first paragraph.... At just the moment when you get comfortable with what he is saying, Bob will stick you with a thorn before applying Gilead's balm. Bob Kopp is must reading for anyone serious about being a Christian in the new millennium.
