This series of six dramatic dialogs for Lent explores the faith, thoughts, and emotions of early Christians who knew and loved Jesus. Use each dialog as part of your regular Sunday services or mid-week services during Lent. Use the accompanying discussion starters and study questions in bulletins, newsletters, Bible study classes, or Sunday school to aid dimension and depth to your Lenten observances.

Peter Garrison is Pastor of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Burlingame, California. Peter and his wife, Joanne, met in Honduras during its war with El Salvador in the summer of 1969. "Joanne saved my life during an ambush. With that dramatic start, my interest in life-and-death issues of Christian faith was set in motion. These plays are part of that life-and-death interest.
