It's no secret that because stewardship is often viewed as little more than a euphemism for discussing money and budget matters, it's an uncomfortable topic for many in the ministry. But Allan Weenink makes no apology for his zealous approach to stewardship -- he believes that the spiritual dimension is just as important as the financial, and that cultivating the grace of generosity is vital for Christian ministry. Drawn from countless workshops and seminars conducted during Weenink's years as a stewardship consultant, this book provides a wealth of proven "hands-on" material that will help you develop an effective stewardship model. It's a practical ministry resource that will yield bountiful dividends!

As a pastor, consultant, and member of national church committees, Al Weenink has learned what the church needs to know about stewardship. From biblical understandings to practical suggestions, what Weenink shares is well worth reading. Enjoy the gift and the challenge from one who loves Jesus Christ and cares deeply about the future church!

Proven Resources For Stewardship Promotion is a rich collection of information from Al Weenink's many years of experience in helping the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) remain fiscally faithful to its call for mission and ministry in a troubled world. Weenink challenges us to a holistic approach as we struggle to make every congregation a living model of sacrificial stewardship. His command of theological understanding, deep faith, and practical application is priceless. This volume belongs in every church in the hands and hearts of pastors, officers, and lay leaders who will use it as a precious guide.
