In today's world where so much happens either quickly or not at all, how can churchpeople who feel pressed for time learn about the Bible? Bible Bulletin is an outstanding resource that you can use to provide significant amounts of Bible information in brief capsules. Formatted for easy reproduction as bulletin inserts, there's five years' worth of focused, one-page Bible studies (260 bulletins) that provide an introductory survey of the Bible in one volume. And each unit is designed to stand alone, so you can use as many or as few as your needs dictate. There's a wide variety of uses for Bible Bulletin -- Sunday bulletins and newsletters just scratch the surface. And it's a great way to stimulate further investigation of the scriptures in the classroom and at home.

Bible Bulletin's topics are grouped into eight areas to focus attention and aid in understanding important segments of the Bible:
* Background ... includes information about the Bible in general (ex. canon and Pentateuch)
* Books ... introduces the books of the Bible
* Chapters and Verses ... explores significant biblical passages
* Events ... examines central happenings in biblical history that have shaped our lives
* People ... introduces the persons who fill the biblical landscape
* Places ... geographically and historically locates the countries and towns of the biblical narrative
* Translations ... reviews available Bible versions for the serious reader
* Words ... explores the meaning of key Bible concepts by examining the original Hebrew and Greek

There is a great need in churches today for competent and comprehensive material to promote biblical literacy. Bible Bulletin provides an easy and efficient way to teach the Bible to the widest cross-section of church membership, the worshiping congregation. Dale Bowne has been a professional Bible teacher for over 35 years and has always been in close touch with the programs and needs of individual churches. I have seen Bible Bulletin at work in the church, and I can attest to the reliability and usability of its content.

Bible Bulletin has increased the biblical literacy of many in our congregation who do not attend Sunday school and are intimidated by religious reference and study books. Each insert is brief, succinct, and delivers essential biblical facts, traditions, and theologies in an attractive and engaging format. Bible Bulletin makes an important contribution to today's Christian literature.
